Ethics & story: Our clothes are styled according to our Scandinavian design heritage with clean lines and functional, simple features. We believe it is an ideal design tradition also when designing childrens' clothing: we want the child to wear the clothes and not the other way around..
Fabric qualities and thus the feel of the garment is essential to us - clothes have to be comfortable! We ensure this by focusing on ergonomic fit in a fashion context, natural fibres and the finest processing. All our cotton styles are GOTS certified 100% organic and SA8000 certified as your gurantee, that our clothes are not harmful to your childs' skin, production is done as environmentally frindly as can possibly be and the people involved have been treated in a good way. All our Alpaca wool styles are made from the finest 100% baby-Alpaca wool fibres. It is presently not possible to have our Alpaca production certified as organic. The Alpaca lives without fencing - this alone makes certification impossible, but we of course strive to maintain the same high standards when producing Alpaca wool products as we do under GOTS and SA8000 certification.
Origins: All Serendipity cotton styles are produced in India, where our certified organic cotton is also grown. This means the entire production from growth of cotton and production of textiles to the finished style is produced in one area to avoid excess transportation. The entire production process from cotton growth and spinning to finished production live up to the standards set forward in Global Organic Textile Standard GOTS and SA8000 Certified. Most of our suppliers are also in the process of obtaining Flo-Cert that guarantees fair trade in the entire production chain.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY TIME
Finland: 10€ shipping for orders under 100€, and free for orders of 100€ or more. It usually takes a 2-3 of days from the confirmation for the package to arrive.
Europe: 20€ shipping for orders under 200€, and free for orders of 200€ or more. Please count about a week from confirmation for the package to arrive.
Rest of the world: We don't officially ship right now outside of Europe, but if you really want we can make an exception :) Shipping rates will be depending on the order and delivery time will depend on how far you are. Please note that we are not responsible for your local customs fees and/or taxes.
Our policy lasts 21 days. If 21 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase, so please include a copy of your receipt in the package.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com and send your item to: Korkeavuorenkatu 9 Helsinki FI 00140.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
